EMP ( Environmental Management Plan)
The main Target of this process is to develop measures to eliminate, offset or reduce impacts to acceptable levels during implementation and operation of projects. The integration of such measures into project implementation and operation is supported by clearly defining the environmental requirements within an environmental management plan (EMP).
The EMP focuses on:
· Objectives/targets
· Mitigation measures to be applied in the field to minimise potential adverse impacts (significant and minor) and achieve objectives/targets
· Management practices and responsibilities (procedural measures) and staff training.
· Environmental monitoring and audits.
